LOUISA CORBETT

Louisa is a landscape and garden designer working on a range of commissions across Hampshire and the surrounding counties.

Having moved to Hampshire in 2009 from London where she practiced law for ten years, Louisa has been able to indulge her passion and interest in nature and horticulture and create beautiful country gardens. Louisa qualified with Distinction from the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in 2018.

Louisa believes in reflecting a client’s own narrative within their garden and creating a true sense of place. Louisa draws on the aesthetics of the house and wider landscape to create a synergy with the surroundings. Through thoughtful design and the play of light, shadow and texture, form and function are wound into the garden creating energy and rhythm.

Louisa assisted Nic Howard’s planting team for The David Harber and Savills Garden at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2018 and was thrilled to work alongside the inspirational Andrew Duff in his planting team for the build of his RHS Chelsea Savills and David Harber Garden 2019.

Louisa is working towards Pre Registered member status of the Society of Garden Designers.

TESTIMONIALS

“Louisa took note of our ‘wish list’ and discussed style and garden lifestyle with us before carefully measuring up the gardens and absorbing every aspect from inside and outside the house. She presented us with scale masterplans of both gardens which clearly showed her ideas as well as describing her overall concept.”

“Louisa captured the essence of what we were looking for beautifully and came up with many clever ideas, she clearly has an excellent knowledge and understanding of the planting side but also of scale, space planning and hard landscaping.”

“We were delighted, and continue to be delighted with Louisa’s suggestions and can’t wait to put them into practice. We found her to be very professional and lovely to deal with throughout. We can’t recommend her highly enough.”
